Jose-Ignacio Castillo (M´03, SM´10) has 27 years of experience in computer networks He had participated in 108 national & international projects.
As academic Since 2008 Castillo is a tenured Professor at The Autonomous University of Mexico City. He was a visitor Professor or partial time for the University of the Army & Air force México (UDEFA), The Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM) and Salesian Polytechnical University (UPS-Ecuador), BUAP, UPAEP & UTM. He has written 50 conference & journal papers, 4 books related to computer networks and leadership. He has offered 171 keynote & invited talks. He is referee in IEEE journals and conferences. He has lectured 140 grade and posgrade courses. He studied MSc. & BSc. in Electronics [with honors] by B. Autonomous University of Puebla Mexico. INTERESTS: Internet networks, data centers & engineering management.
As practitioner he worked with TELMEX-REDUNO, The Federal Electoral Institute, and DICINET. He participated with ISO / IEC 27000 committee, Mexican National Body. As consultant he works with DATACENTER DYNAMICS.
